⏱️ Mano Minute (10/30): The Frozen Produce Myth 🥦 I’ve been asked many times if there’s a difference between fresh and frozen produce. Simple answer = not really. Most people assume fresh is always better. Organic and naturally sourced frozen fruits and vegetables are picked at peak ripeness and frozen right away. That locks in nutrients that often fade in “fresh” produce as it travels and sits on shelves. Frozen produce also helps people eat more fruits and veggies because it doesn’t spoil. Personally, I always keep frozen produce as a backup. TL;DR: Frozen fruits and veggies are packed with nutrients. Fresh is great, but frozen is just as good — especially when it’s organic and naturally sourced. |
