⏱️ Mano Minute (9/2): New Month Action Items

I love thinking of each month as a new chapter in your book.

There are 12 chapters in the year.
Each one tells its own story.

September is the 9th chapter in our book.
With 30 blank pages waiting to be filled.

Here are a few questions I like to ask myself at the start of each month:

  1. What were 3 wins from last month?
  2. What are 3 things I want to improve on?
  3. What 3 things can I accomplish this month that align with my annual goals?
  4. What’s one habit for each goal I can commit to this month?

Keep it simple and honest.

Mano Minute (2/5): Who are the most important people in your life? 🫂 I’ve been thinking more about my relationships lately. The people I love. The ones I care most deeply about. The ones I want to take every opportunity to spend time with. And I’ve realized how hard this actually is. Time is limited.Schedules fill up quickly.Work, training, and life all compete for space. It’s impossible to see everyone. And when I try to see a lot of people, what usually happens is I see them once in a while....

Mano Minute (2/4): Sets and reps made simple 🏋️♂️ Before we jump into the sets and reps, there's one concept I want to cover. Total volume = the total amount of work a muscle does in a workout (in pounds). The formula is: reps × weight = total volume If we want to increase our total volume, we either have to increase our reps or our weight. Gradual increases in total volume are one of the best indicators of progress over time. That said, volume alone doesn’t tell the full story. We also need...
