When was the last time you were actually bored?

No phone. No TV. No music. Just still.

For our older individuals, maybe it was back in your college years.
For our younger individuals, maybe it was when you were a kid.

It’s rare now. The second we feel “nothing,” we rush to fill it with something (a scroll, a snack, a sound).

But boredom is a good thing.
To me, boredom and solitude are the same.

It’s in those moments that your brain gets to create, reflect, and make connections you’d never see in the noise.

Try it. Let yourself be bored for a few minutes today. You might be surprised what comes up.

TL;DR: Don’t fill every quiet moment. Boredom is where creativity and calm begin.
